Interview with Abdulla Yousuf, director of International Operations, DCT Abu Dhabi

In an interview with Economy Middle East at ATM Dubai 2024, Abdulla Yousuf, director of International Operations at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, discussed Abu Dhabi’s ambitious tourism strategy for 2030. This strategy focuses on attracting 39 million visitors by 2030, contributing over 90 billion dirhams to the GDP and creating more than 187,000 jobs.

Furthermore, Yousuf highlighted plans to develop tourism beyond Abu Dhabi City, with initiatives aligned with the strategy’s key pillars. He encouraged exploration of Al Ain and Al Dhafra, emphasizing their historical and natural attractions.

Additionally, he mentioned ongoing collaborations to enhance the tourism sector and ensure consistent global promotion of Abu Dhabi.
