Interview with Sridhar Vembu, founder and CEO of Zoho

At LEAP 2024, Sridhar Vembu, Zoho’s founder and CEO, discussed with Economy Middle East the strategic reasons behind choosing Saudi Arabia for the company’s first data centers in the region.

Vembu further emphasized Zoho’s commitment to regulatory compliance and data privacy, building trust with both private and public sector clients.

He also outlined plans for a 500 million Saudi riyal injection into the Kingdom over the next three to five years. This investment aligns with Zoho’s impressive growth trajectory, having achieved a compound annual growth rate of 58 percent over the past five years.

Moreover, Vembu detailed Zoho’s investment focus areas, which include nurturing local talent, developing custom solutions, and contributing to the overall advancement of technology in the region.
