Amedeo Scarpa, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE said, “The UAE is one of the most important countries for Italian jewelry manufacturers, and jewelry continues to be the first item in value exported from Italy to this country. Italy is the 3rd supplier of the Emirati market, where 90 percent of jewels are imported, and the demand for Italian precious items has steadily grown, registering a 25 percent increase in the first semester of 2022 to reach 560 million euros.
