The Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADAFZ) has recently signed a Musataha agreement with Radius Group, a leading developer of industrial and logistics, to develop an AED320 million ($87.12 million) warehousing facility.

Situated in Al Falah District and spanning over a 140,000-square-meter plot of land, the project will deliver over 90,000 square meters of best-in-class warehouses. This strategic investment will enhance Al Falah District’s logistics capabilities, create employment opportunities, and boost the local economy.

Supporting Abu Dhabi’s trade and industry

The strategic agreement with Radius Group highlights ADAFZ’s commitment to attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). Moreover, it meets the growing demand for high-quality light industrial space, fostering growth in trade and industry. This further solidifies Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading business and investment hub.

“This development demonstrates ADAFZ’s dedication to attracting leading businesses to Abu Dhabi. By leveraging the emirate’s strategic location and world-class facilities, we are creating a thriving hub for businesses to serve the entire region,” stated Wilson Chan, senior vice president of free zone cargo and logistics at ADAFZ.

Chan added that the rising demand for efficient and scalable warehousing solutions in Al Falah District reflects the emirate’s robust economic growth. This demand also highlights the emirate’s expanding trade activities and need for premium infrastructure.

Project set for completion in 24 months

Besides, Radius Group will equip the ADAFZ warehouses with cutting-edge climate control systems and energy-efficient lighting. Moreover, it will implement security features and adaptable optimized storage solutions.
