The inaugural Abu Dhabi Business Week (ADBW) has revealed an stellar roster of international business leaders, innovators, and notable public figures for its first edition, set to begin on December 4.
Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), this event promises to be a significant gathering.
From December 4 to 6, more than 150 speakers from various sectors and industries will share their entrepreneurial stories, life lessons, and insights with an audience of 8,000 attendees across ten dedicated events. Additionally, centered around the theme ‘Deliver Value. Create Impact,’ Abu Dhabi Business Week will prioritize innovation and entrepreneurship, providing valuable guidance on business development from global leaders in diverse fields.
Also, among the distinguished speakers are Marc Randolph, founder and former CEO of Netflix; retail icon Jo Malone; former Google and Facebook executives Randi Zuckerberg and Mo Gawdat; Formula One legend David Coulthard; and soccer star Clarence Seedorf.
Insights from industry trailblazers
Additional sessions will feature Magnus Olsson and Elie Habib. They will discuss their experiences in building billion-dollar businesses with Careem and Anghami. Their insights will focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and scaling successful ventures.
In addition, Christine Tsai, founder and CEO of Silicon Valley’s 500 Global, the world’s largest early-stage investor, will share her journey. She will highlight her role in nurturing the growth of thousands of startups.
Also, in line with Abu Dhabi’s remarkable “Falcon Economy,” Dr. Sara Sabry, the first Arab female astronaut, will engage in a discussion titled “How to Achieve the Impossible Dream.”

Moreover, Shamis Ali Al Dhaheri, second vice chairman of ADCCI, remarked, “This week promises to deliver extensive insights from some of the world’s biggest business leaders and influential figures that will help drive forward businesses across the Emirate. The event truly reflects Abu Dhabi’s outstanding economic journey and immense growth opportunities.”
He further mentioned that one of ADBW’s foundational pillars is to offer opportunities for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs to learn, connect, and network. He noted that this aligns well with the Emirate’s commitment to creating optimal conditions for growth and fostering an investment-friendly environment. He expressed that the week is set to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s business sector by promoting public-private partnerships and collaboration, which is essential for enhancing a knowledge-based and diversified economy.
