Abu Dhabi has recently been ranked as the world’s safest city in 2024 by the online database Numbeo, according to Abu Dhabi Police. This recognition highlights the emirate’s commitment to implementing top-notch security standards and improving the quality of life for its citizens, residents, and visitors, Abu Dhabi Media Office reported.

Outperforming 328 other cities worldwide, Abu Dhabi has consistently held the title of the world’s safest city since 2017. This remarkable achievement underscores the emirate’s unwavering dedication to ensuring an exceptional living environment for everyone, WAM reported.

Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, director general of Abu Dhabi Police, attributes Abu Dhabi’s selection as the safest city for an eighth consecutive year to the collective efforts invested in promoting community well-being and security.
Abu Dhabi: Highest score of 86.8
Abu Dhabi achieved the highest score of 86.8 on the list, with Taipei, Taiwan, closely following with a score of 84.4. Other notable cities in the top rankings include Doha, Qatar (84.0), Ajman (83.5), and Dubai (83.4). Additionally, Ras Al Khaimah joins the top ten with a score of 83.3, alongside Muscat, Oman (80.2), The Hague (Den Haag), Netherlands (79.8), Bern, Switzerland (79.5), and Munich, Germany.
