During his official visit to Norway, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met with several CEOs from leading Norwegian companies, as part of their participation in the UAE-Norway Investment Forum, held alongside the official visit.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khaled underscored the UAE leadership’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with its international partners. He also highlighted that investment in innovation and knowledge is a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development.
Sheikh Khaled also highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration with Norwegian companies across key sectors in opening new avenues for mutual economic growth between the two countries.
The UAE-Norway Investment Forum, taking place in Oslo, sought to highlight available investment opportunities and strengthen trade relations between the UAE and Norway, fostering mutual interests and supporting innovation and knowledge-based economic visions.
Accelerating UAE-Norway cooperation
During the visit, Sheikh Khaled will hold meetings with His Royal Highness Haakon Magnus, Crown Prince of Norway, and Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Norway. The discussions will explore ways to further enhance cooperation across key sectors and highlight new opportunities for collaboration between the UAE and Norway.
A UAE delegation is accompanying Sheikh Khaled during his official visit, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; and Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak, Executive Managing Director of Mohamed bin Zayed Fund for Nature – Presidential Court; and Fatima Khamis Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, will also participate in the meetings.

The visit to Norway comes following Sheikh Khaled’s official visit to Qatar last week, where he held talks with the Emir of Qatar and the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The visit also sought to enhance cooperation across strategic sectors between the two GCC states.
