Abu Dhabi’s Yahsat approves interim dividend of $55.79 million for H1 2024

Dividends will be distributed to shareholders registered by the end of the business day on September 12

In a notice to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Yahsat announced that these dividends amount to 8.40 percent of the share's nominal value.

The Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi-based Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) has approved an interim dividend distribution of 8.40 fils per share for the first half of 2024, WAM reported.

In a notice to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Tuesday, Yahsat announced that these dividends amount to 8.40 percent of the share’s nominal value, totaling AED204,940,703 ($55.79 million), which will be distributed to shareholders registered by the end of the business day on Thursday, 12 September 2024.

Additionally, the Board has approved the agenda for the company’s General Assembly Meeting (GAM) and has called for the GAM to be held on 26th September 2024, or on a different date to be determined by the Securities and Commodities Authority.
