Abu Dhabi-based Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) has awarded the construction contract for the Jubail Town Centre, located in Souk Al Jubail, the commercial and retail center of Jubail Island.
The contract, valued at approximately AED400 million ($108.9 million), has been assigned to Bright Accord General Contracting Company. It also includes the construction of four office buildings along with two residential structures—Jubail Terraces buildings 7 and 8.
Nestled in the heart of Jubail Island within the Souk Al Jubail village, Jubail Town Centre aims to be a family-oriented lifestyle destination, WAM reported. Moreover, it promises a contemporary, lively atmosphere that harmoniously integrates well-being, connectivity, leisure, retail, and commercial services.

Project timeline
Groundbreaking for the Jubail Town Centre is anticipated to commence in Q3 2024, with a goal for completion by Q3 2026. The Town Centre will boast outdoor areas and parks, a mosque, a specialized medical clinic, a nursery, a supermarket, cutting-edge fitness centers, over 40 retail shops, five-star dining pavilions, campus-style offices, wellness centers, and a lively community hub.
