Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar has entered into a partnership with Presight, a prominent big data analytics firm utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI), to create an asset management tool for its global renewable energy initiatives.

Masdar’s renewable energy projects produce billions of data points daily from various equipment, including solar panels, inverters, and wind turbines. This extensive data can be analyzed to extract valuable insights, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Transitioning to predictive operations

By developing an AI-driven asset management tool, Masdar aims to digitize its global operations, transitioning from a reactive to a predictive model. This approach will allow for the analysis of data and operational trends to identify potential issues early, enhance efficiency, mitigate failures before they happen, minimize downtime, and ultimately increase energy output.
