Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA), the knowledge arm of ADGM, marked its 5th anniversary as the penultimate event of the recently concluded Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) . The highlight of the celebration was the graduation ceremony featuring 500 Emiratis completing the academy’s rigorous and prestigious program.
To date, more than 8,000 professionals have graduated from ADGMA, which has been instrumental in the upskilling and career development of Emiratis. Additionally, through its National Development Program (NDP) launched in 2019, the academy has created over 3,000 job opportunities in the private sector.

ADGMA lauded the accomplishments of its alumni by emphasizing their significant contributions to the UAE’s continued prosperity. This achievement of the academy’s alumni solidifies ADGMA’s reputation for effectively nurturing and developing local talent and skills, creating a robust alumni network.

During the ceremony, ADGMA took the opportunity to highlight its remarkable achievements over the last five years. It recognized its private sector partners, for their steadfast support for the government’s Emiratization program within their organizations. The collaborative efforts with these partners have been instrumental in sustaining the growth of ADGMA’s talented community and the overall economy.
Another milestone revealed as part of its fifth year of operations was the establishment of the ADGMA Research Center. It is the only applied research hub dedicated to addressing real-world challenges for policymakers, regulators, and educators.

Commenting on these milestones of ADGMA, Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, chairman of the ADGM Academy Board of Directors said, “The successes of ADGM Academy are a testament to the substantial progress we have achieved in the past five years. We reiterate our commitment to developing the knowledge economy of the UAE and contributing to Abu Dhabi’s financial industry through a culture of research and innovation.”
He added, “We are proud to partner with various entities from both the public and private sectors, collectively creating numerous success stories for UAE professionals. This, in turn, contributes to the present and future growth of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. ADGMA’s visions and goals align with Abu Dhabi’s leadership, and we bear a great responsibility for the Emirati youth to support our nation development and growth.”
The event also hosted a panel session with prominent members of the government who discussed future skills in a changing and dynamic landscape.
