The Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA), the knowledge division of the international financial center in Abu Dhabi, has entered into Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Burjeel Holdings, NMC Assetco Limited, and Aster DM Healthcare. These agreements aim to support initiatives focused on the healthcare sector within the UAE National Agenda and create an optimal platform for the development of a strong workforce comprising UAE Nationals.

ADGMA has signed the MoUs with the senior management of Burjeel, NMC, and Aster. This strategic collaboration with prominent healthcare entities demonstrates ADGMA’s commitment to establishing an educational hub. It involves the development of training programs and educational courses that fulfill the knowledge requirements for maintaining a highly proficient workforce and enhancing the skill development of UAE Nationals.
The areas of collaboration specified in the MoUs will explore objectives related to the onboarding, development, and retention of local talent through dedicated courses. ADGMA’s focus lies in recruiting UAE Nationals within the healthcare sector, including the three aforementioned companies (Burjeel, NMC, and Aster), through the Job Centre.
Collaborating for innovation and skill enhancement
Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, chairman of the ADGM Academy Board of Directors, expressed that the aim of collaborating with leading entities such as NMC, Burjeel, and Aster is to have a concrete impact on innovation, skill enhancement, and the development of national talent. This collaborative effort not only contributes to the establishment of a knowledge-driven economy but also fosters economic prosperity, he added.
Alignment with national security of employability
Additionally, ADGM Academy’s alignment with the national security of employability and the Department of Government Enablement involves partnering with private hospitals and government authorities. These partnerships will facilitate the creation of a skilled workforce within the industry. The primary objective is to empower local talent by providing them with essential resources and expertise, thereby nurturing national progress. These partnerships signify a significant step towards promoting education and strengthening the next generation of Emirati workforce.
