Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the international financial center of Abu Dhabi, has officially launched the ‘Advertising Permit’ service on its AccessRP platform, marking a significant step in advancing transparency, governance, and investor protection in the real estate sector.
The initiative is designed to curb fake property listings, enhance market oversight, and reinforce investor confidence by mandating that all property advertisements within ADGM’s jurisdiction be issued with an official permit.
A regulatory milestone for real estate advertising
The new service was launched by ADGM’s Registration Authority (RA) in strategic collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center (ADREC).
The joint initiative reflects ADGM’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a leading regulator and reinforce its commitment to high standards of market integrity and compliance.
The UAE’s first multiple listing service
Central to the initiative is the integration of DMT and ADREC’s Madhmoun platform, the UAE’s first Multiple Listing Service (MLS), launched earlier this year. The Madhmoun system enables verified property listings and provides real estate professionals and investors with reliable, real-time data.
By integrating the Advertising Permit with Madhmoun, ADGM is not only regulating real estate advertising but also creating an internationally aligned ecosystem for authentic property listings, empowering property aggregators, and raising market standards.
Full implementation across Al Maryah and Al Reem Islands
The Advertising Permit service has now been fully rolled out across ADGM’s jurisdiction, including Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island. Stakeholders can now access the service through the AccessRP platform, ensuring seamless compliance with new listing requirements.
