ADNOC Distribution plans to expand its network of fuel stations and electric vehicle (EV) charging points under its five-year growth and expansion strategy. ADNOC Distribution will expand its network across the UAE in addition to Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

On the sidelines of the final day of the Make it in the Emirates Forum, Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, also added that the company seeks to expand its network of fuel stations from the current 840 in the UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to around 1,000 stations over the next five years.

Al Lamki added that ADNOC Distribution currently has 90 fast EV charging points in key locations. However, the company aims to raise this number of charging points to 150-200 by the end of this year. Moreover, the company plans to install 500 fast electric chargers over the next five years.

In addition, the company seeks to add between 15 and 20 new fuel stations this year at key locations that are easy to access. Moreover, it plans to expand non-fuel retail services in an effort to become a leading company in the multi-energy sector. During the forum, Al Lamki expressed pride in ADNOC’s local manufacturing and products which the company now exports to over 40 countries globally.

Al Lamki highlighted the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into ADNOC Distribution’s operations which has improved customer experience. Moreover, he highlighted the significance of technology in facilitating the reach to available EV charging points and how to use them.
