Ajman real estate transactions hit $1.51 billion in Q1 2025

March witnessed the registration of 156 mortgage transactions, with a total value of AED299 million

The value of real estate transactions in Ajman during the first quarter of 2025 hit AED5.54 billion ($1.51 billion). In March alone, Ajman recorded AED2.06 billion in transactions, a significant increase of more than 41 percent compared to the same period in 2024.

In February, Ajman’s Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation recorded 1,541 real estate transactions with a total value exceeding AED1.91 billion, achieving a growth of 27.33 percent compared to the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, January saw 1,321 real estate transactions with a total value of AED1.57 billion.

March records 1,025 real estate transactions

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, director general of the department, confirmed that March witnessed the registration of 1,025 real estate transactions, while the trading volume during the same period reached AED1.03 billion. He noted that the highest transaction value was recorded in the Al Helio 1 area at AED43 million.

Al Muhairi explained that Ajman’s real estate market has maintained its upward trend and continues to set record numbers, reflecting the quality of the real estate investment environment. The growth also confirms the extent of investor interest and appetite for investment in the emirate, given the competitive prices, integrated services and advanced infrastructure.

The data also revealed that March witnessed the registration of 156 mortgage transactions, with a total value of AED299 million. The highest mortgage value at AED40 million was recorded in Al Nuaimiya 3.

Meanwhile, Al Helio 2 topped the list of most traded neighborhoods, followed by Al Zahia and Al Yasmeen. Ajman One also topped the list of most traded major projects, ahead of Emirates City and City Towers.

Ajman records AED8.38 billion transactions in 2024

According to annual data issued by the Ajman Real Estate Index, the emirate saw the registration of 1,853 real estate valuation transactions with a total value of more than AED8.38 billion in 2024.

Al Muhairi confirmed that the valuation transactions for units in real estate development projects amounted to 594 with a total of AED361.8 million, explaining that the department registered 1,512 real estate valuation transactions for golden residencies for investors with a total of AED3.82 billion.

The number of commercial real estate valuation transactions amounted to 391 transactions with a total value of more than AED5.29 billion last year, ahead of residential real estate, which amounted to AED2.12 billion and industrial real estate, which came third with AED888 million.

Al Muhairi added that 2024’s statistics reflect the volume of demand in the Ajman real estate market, which confirms the attractiveness of the emirate to investors and entrepreneurs.
