7X, the UAE-based holding group specializing in trade, transport, and logistics, and parent company of key entities including EMX and Emirates Post, has announced a strategic partnership with Amazon UAE.
The collaboration is set to transform last-mile delivery using 7X’s logistics arm, EMX, and its network of Dark Stores.
As part of the agreement, Amazon will leverage EMX’s strategically located Dark Stores as hyperlocal fulfilment hubs, enabling faster delivery of high-demand products to customers across the UAE.
These fulfilment hubs, embedded within residential and commercial neighborhoods, will allow Amazon to position select inventory closer to customers, boosting delivery speeds while supporting broader goals around sustainability and urban planning.

Answering the demand for everyday essentials
The initiative is designed to address the rising demand for rapid access to everyday essentials such as groceries, personal care items, electronics, and household goods.
By placing products nearer to where people live and work, the partnership aims to reduce traffic congestion on major roads, shorten delivery distances, and lower the environmental footprint of e-commerce logistics.
