Arab Health, the Middle East’s largest and most important healthcare event and congress, is celebrating its landmark 50th edition as it returns to the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) from January 27-30, 2025.

The milestone event, which will be held under the theme ‘Where the World of Healthcare Meets,” will bring together over 3,800 exhibitors and welcome more than 60,000 visitors, providing a unique platform for innovation, collaboration and education in healthcare.

This year, Arab Health will host more than 40 country pavilions, with exhibitors representing over 80 countries in total, covering the Middle East, the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia.

“In the last five decades, Arab Health has grown alongside the incredible expansion of the global healthcare market, evolving from a regional exhibition to a pivotal event on the international stage. With the anticipated market growth, Arab Health, more than ever, has an integral role in facilitating global business and addressing the latest healthcare trends worldwide,” stated Ross Williams, group event director, Informa Markets.

2024 edition sees over AED9 billion in business deals

Last year, record-breaking business deals exceeding AED9 billion were completed, along with record participation from 3,627 exhibitors and more than 58,000 visitors.

Since its inception in 1975, with just over 40 exhibitors, Arab Health has grown into a globally recognized event. Initially focused on showcasing medical products, the exhibition has grown steadily, increasing regional and international participants throughout the 80s and ’90s before securing global recognition in the 2000s.

Today, Arab Health attracts an audience of leading healthcare figures and international exhibitors from around the world, with the 2025 edition expected to draw more than 3,800 exhibitors, many unveiling world-exclusive innovations in the healthcare sector.

Consumer healthcare market to reach $780 billion by 2030

According to insights from Verified Market Research, the consumer healthcare market size was valued at $360 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $780 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 8.8 percent during the forecast period from 2024 to 2030.

“The 2025 edition underscores how Arab Health remains at the heart of this dynamic industry, fostering collaboration and innovation that drives healthcare advancement globally. As the sector continues to evolve, Arab Health stands as a vital platform for connecting ideas, technologies, and people shaping the future of healthcare,” added Williams.

Making their country pavilion debut in 2025, Morocco and Latvia will be joined by long-standing participants, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, which will increase their presence significantly with additional floor space. Other country pavilions for the 2025 edition include the USA, China, India, Singapore and Taiwan, amongst others.

This year will also see a range of first-time international exhibitors, including Daigo, Fapomed, Global Medical Technology, Global Pharma Healthcare, Levity Products, Mark Ortho Care and more, who will take up residence in the Al Mustaqbal Hall, which is being utilized for the time as part of the new exhibitor zone.

The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) will once again participate in the event with a delegation of UK HealthTech businesses, hospital groups, regional accelerators, government partners and healthcare leaders.

Arab Health Congress returns

The Arab Health Congress, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, also returns this year, featuring nine continuing medical education (CME) conferences and three Healthcare Business Forums. Led by an international roster of over 250 healthcare professionals, the forums will address the latest industry trends through more than 110 sessions over four days.

The Healthcare Business Forums and three newly launched non-continuing medical education sessions will include EmpowHer: Women in Healthcare, Digital Health & AI, and Healthcare Investment Summit, which will explore key themes such as the growth of female entrepreneurship in healthcare, global investment trends, and teamwork and teambuilding in health organizational culture and strategy.

The Eco-Sphere, a newly launched feature at Arab Health, will include The Healthcare ESG Forum, and the World of Wellness. The former will have a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility in healthcare, reflecting Arab Health’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices, with programs that highlight energy-efficient medical devices, waste reduction strategies and the importance of a circular economy.

Meanwhile, the World of Wellness will take a deep dive into the future of longevity and reverse aging, next-gen wellness wearables, mental health, nutrition and wellness strategies and personalized health and genomics.

The Future Health Summit, held at the iconic Museum of the Future, will bring together visionaries, policymakers, and innovators from around the globe to explore transformative ideas and initiatives shaping the healthcare sector. Attendees will hear from some of the brightest minds in the industry, including renowned speakers from the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), Google, PwC Middle East, and Amazon Web Service.

Transformation Zone to showcase latest disruptive technologies

A returning highlight of this year’s exhibition is the Transformation Zone, which will showcase disruptive technologies and groundbreaking innovations set to revolutionize healthcare delivery. Attendees will be able to engage in thought-provoking discussions at the Healthcare Transformation Talks and the popular Innov8 Start-up competition, with a $10,000 prize up for grabs.

For executives and decision-makers, the Executive Networking Lounge will offer an exclusive space to foster strategic collaborations and high-level discussions, while the Healthcare World Stage will serve as a platform for engaging conversations on emerging trends shaping the industry’s future.

Over 200 UAE companies showcase latest innovations

Arab Health 2025 will be supported by various government entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.

“As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Arab Health, it is a fitting moment to reflect on the evolution of the UAE’s healthcare sector, which has developed alongside the nation’s growth over the past five decades. Through strategic investments, the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and international collaborations, the UAE has transformed its healthcare landscape, ensuring high-quality care for its citizens and positioning itself at the centre of medical excellence and innovation,” stated Solenne Singer, vice president at Informa Markets.

The UAE will be represented by over 200 companies, showcasing the latest innovations across nine product sectors, ranging from medical equipment and devices to imaging and diagnostics, as well as wellness and prevention.

An extended version of the Arab Health Village will also return, providing visitors with a space to network in a more relaxed environment where food and beverages are available. The area will be open throughout show days and into the evening.
