On the second day of its 50th-anniversary celebration, Arab Health, recognized as the Middle East’s most significant and largest healthcare congress since its inception in 1975, proudly revealed its new identity as World Health Expo Dubai (WHX Dubai). This transformation symbolizes a visionary shift for the next 50 years of collaboration and innovation in global healthcare, emphasizing Dubai’s emerging role as a pivotal hub for medical progress.

A legacy of healthcare connections

For five decades, Arab Health has been an essential platform for fostering healthcare connections throughout the region. The event has expanded remarkably, evolving from merely 40 exhibitors in its first year to a globally esteemed gathering that attracts over 60,000 healthcare professionals annually. The introduction of WHX Dubai marks a new era, encapsulating a progressive approach to uniting people, businesses, governments, and innovators across international borders.

A unified brand for global healthcare events

The name World Health Expo (WHX) serves to unify Informa’s healthcare events globally, enhancing the facilitation of connections and collaborations under one cohesive brand. WHX Dubai aims to build upon the achievements of Arab Health, linking more than half a million healthcare professionals across nine countries and four continents. By consolidating each event within the Informa Markets Healthcare portfolio, WHX seeks to magnify their influence, promoting greater innovation, stronger relationships, and transformative progress within the healthcare ecosystem.

WHX Dubai, formerly known as Arab Health, will run until Thursday,January 30, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), under the theme “Where the World of Healthcare Meets.” This event will host over 3,800 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors from over 180 participating countries, offering a unique platform for innovation, collaboration, and education in healthcare.

Arab Health 2025 is supported by various governmental entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
