As the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) gears up for its 2024 edition, anticipation is high for discussions on the latest innovations and transformative solutions in the travel and tourism sector.
With a spotlight on sustainability and the pivotal role of startups and innovators, this year’s theme is ‘Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship’.
Sustainability and entrepreneurship
In its 31st edition, ATM 2024 is set to host a lineup of prominent international airlines and aircraft manufacturers. This year, the exhibition will include Emirates, flydubai, Saudia, flynas, Qatar Airways and Egypt Air. Moreover, ATM 2024 will host private jet companies including MayFair Jets Group and Air Charter Service. With sustainability emerging as a critical focus area, alongside the growing role of startups and innovators, ATM 2024 aims to chart a course towards a more sustainable and innovative future for travel and tourism.
Commenting on this year’s edition, Danielle Curtis, exhibition director ME, ATM, said the exhibition will “explore how innovative sustainable trends will evolve, identifying strategies for growth within key vertical sectors”.
Partnerships driving innovation
ATM 2024 has forged strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Aviation X Lab and the Intelak program. In alignment with the overarching theme of innovation, these collaborations underscore the commitment to revolutionizing the travel industry. Moreover, they will provide a platform for startups and innovators to showcase their innovations in the sector.
Founded in 2017, Aviation X Lab serves as an aviation-specific incubator. In addition, it unites global aviation leaders with a mission to reshape the sector through sustainable innovation.

ATM 2024
ATM 2024 takes place over four days and features presentations from global travel and tourism leaders. The exhibition will take place from May 6 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
ATM 2024 will also highlight innovation in the aviation sector on May 7 with industry leaders from Cirium, Riyadh Air and IATA. They will convene on the global stage for the session titled ‘Looking Skyward for Innovation: How Aviation is Changing’.
