His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, welcomed His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the Amiri Diwan in Doha during an official visit to Qatar.

Sheikh Tamim extended a warm reception to Sheikh Khaled and his accompanying delegation, engaging in discussions that highlighted the profound cooperation and strong fraternal ties between their nations and peoples.
Focus on strategic cooperation
The talks, Abu Dhabi Media Office reported, focused on advancing joint cooperation in strategic sectors of mutual interest.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Khaled conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, as well as from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. He also expressed their best wishes for the Emir’s well-being and for the ongoing progress and prosperity of Qatar and its citizens.

In response, the Emir of Qatar sent greetings back to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and Sheikh Mansour, expressing his hopes for continued advancement and development for the UAE and its people under their leadership.

During the discussions, Sheikh Khaled reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Qatar, aiming to elevate cooperation to new heights in key sectors. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Sheikh Tamim for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and his delegation during this brotherly visit, wishing Qatar and its people ongoing progress and success.
