His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has officially arrived in Qatar’s Doha for a state visit.
Warm reception at the airport
Upon landing at Doha International Airport, His Highness was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Deputy Emir of Qatar.
Discussions on bilateral relations
According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, Sheikh Abdullah received Sheikh Khaled and his delegation with warmth, engaging in fruitful discussions about the robust and brotherly relationship between the UAE and Qatar. Moreover, they explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in key areas of shared interest, aiming to benefit both nations.
Ceremonial welcome
Following the warm welcome, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, accompanied by the Deputy Emir, proceeded to the ceremonial platform at the Amiri Diwan, where an official reception took place, featuring the national anthems of both the UAE and Qatar.
Notable delegation members
Sheikh Khaled’s delegation included several distinguished figures. Notably, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan serves as the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court. Additionally, His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi is the Minister of Investment. Furthermore, His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Almarar holds the position of Minister of State.
Moreover, His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak is the Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority. His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak serves as the Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism. In addition, His Excellency Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri is the Chairman of the Department of Health.
Lastly, His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash acts as the Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan is the UAE Ambassador to Qatar. The delegation also included several other senior officials.
