Dubai Airports is paying tribute to the nation’s Founding Fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. In collaboration with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), they are warmly welcoming travelers to the emirate with a special stamp featuring the iconic ‘Zayed and Rashid’ logo. This unique gesture celebrates the visionary leaders who laid the foundation for our extraordinary nation and invites visitors to embark on a journey that honors our rich heritage!
This initiative is part of the ‘#ZayedAndRashid’ campaign, which was launched by Brand Dubai, the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office, following the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Celebrating a visionary legacy
In collaboration with 53 government, semi-government, and private sector organizations, the campaign honors the legacy of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, who envisioned and built the foundation of a nation that has emerged as a global symbol of innovation, prosperity, and happiness.
Aligning with national festivities
This initiative coincides with the UAE’s month-long national celebrations, which commenced on 3 November with UAE Flag Day and will reach a peak on 2 December with Eid Al Etihad. The commemorative stamp serves as a profound expression of gratitude for the visionary leadership of the UAE’s Founding Fathers and pays tribute to their significant contributions to the nation’s advancement.
Special stamp for travelers
As visitor numbers increase this December, travelers will receive the #ZayedAndRashid logo stamped in their passports until 31 December.

Notable initiatives under this campaign include the Flag Garden and a striking mural displayed on the façade of The Gate Building at Dubai International Financial Centre, both featuring images of the Founding Fathers. Running until 2 December, the campaign presents a wide range of celebratory events and activities throughout Dubai that showcase the city’s historical achievements and cultural diversity, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the country’s rich heritage.
