Dubai International (DXB) is poised to welcome 4.3 million travelers in the first half of January, marking the airport’s busiest start to the year. Daily traffic is expected to peak on January 3, with more than 311,000 passengers anticipated.

During this period, DXB is seeing an average of 287,000 guests each day—an increase of 8 percent compared to the same timeframe in 2024 and 6 percent above pre-pandemic levels from 2018-19. This level of activity positions DXB among its busiest months ever, showcasing its capacity to efficiently handle global travel demand, according to a statement.
