Since 2018, Dubai has been home to the world’s tallest hotel, the Gevora Hotel, which will soon be surpassed by the 360-meter-high Ciel Tower, which is set to be located in the heart of Dubai Marina.
According to the chief development partner, the First Group, the Ciel Tower will have 1,209 luxury suites and residences spread across 82 floors.
The hotel was designed by global architecture firm NORR, and construction is being carried out by China Railway Construction Corporation, The First Group’s main development partner (CRCC).
The project is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023 and open in the first half of 2024.
The First Group is advertising this as “one of the hottest investment options” in its portfolio. Dubai’s Law No. 6/2019 On the Ownership of the Jointly Owned Properties in the Emirate of Dubai will arguably be getting some attention, and management companies will be vying to secure their role in this tower.
Visitors will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the city from a rooftop glass observation deck, as well as from the pool and rooftop restaurants.
It will also have health and commercial facilities, along with multiple award-winning restaurants, according to plans that will be revealed in the coming months.
The design won three International Real Estate Awards in December, including Best International Hotel Architecture, Best Architectural Design for Arab Hotels, and Best Quality Architectural Design in Saudi Arabia.
