Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced today a series of enhancements to its public bus services aimed at improving overall accessibility, reducing travel times, and offering more efficient service to key destinations across the emirate.
As part of this initiative, the RTA is implementing several route adjustments that include the introduction of new termination points to optimize connections, revised routing through both residential neighborhoods and industrial areas to better match demand patterns, and the addition of new bus stops in rapidly developing communities to ensure growing populations are well-served by public transport.
As part of the latest updates to RTA’s bus services, route 17 now terminates at Baniyas Square Metro Station instead of the Sabkha Bus Station, while route 24 has been rerouted within Al Nahda 1.
The bus service on route 44 has been rerouted from Rebat Street to Dubai Festival City and route 56’s path has been extended to the DWC Staff Village. Dubai’s RTA also revealed that on routes 66 and 67, a new bus stop has been added in the Al Ruwayyah Farm area.
On route 32C, the section between Al Jafiliya Bus Station and Satwa Bus Station has been curtailed. Passengers going to Satwa can now transfer to route F27. In addition, the bus stop on route C26 has been moved from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Max Metro Bus Stop 2.
