The Dubai Shopping Festival is an annual event that takes place every January in Dubai, UAE. It is a month-long celebration that combines festivity and lights, shopping and glamour, sports and adventure, multi-cuisine food, and a cosmopolitan culture.Â
In its 30th edition, the Dubai Shopping Festival will run from December 13, 2024 to January 19, 2025. This event offers great excitement and attractions for travelers. During the festival, the city of Dubai is decorated with dazzling lights throughout. Malls and retailers offer numerous promotions, discounts, and special deals to draw in shoppers.

The Dubai Shopping Festival takes place across the entire city of Dubai. Visitors can find special offers and discounted prices at large department stores as well as small local shops. Major shopping hubs include the Global Village and the city’s many large shopping malls.Â
Illuminating the night with innovative displays
The decorations and displays for the 2025 Dubai Shopping Festival are expected to be impressive, with new and imaginative light displays, such as butterfly-shaped lights spelling out “DSF 2025”. The night-time cityscape will be magical, with the festival’s elaborate decorations transforming Dubai.
Star-studded performances
In addition to the shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings, the Dubai Shopping Festival 2024-2025 will also feature performances by renowned artists and comedians. Celebrated singers and musicians such as Najwa Karam, Omar Khairat, Kadim Al Sahir, Majid Al Mohandis, and George Wassouf are scheduled to take the stage during the festival.
Environmental consciousness takes center stage
Further, an eco-focused event called Earthsoul Fest will be held concurrently with the Dubai Shopping Festival within the festival premises. Details about this environmentally-conscious component of the program are still being finalized, but more information is expected to be released in the lead-up to the start of the Dubai Shopping Festival festivities.
The full lineup of special performances, exhibits, and other attractions for the Dubai Shopping Festival 2024-2025 is still under wraps, but is anticipated to be unveiled in the coming days before the festival kicks off in mid-December 2024.
