Dubai South grants $40.83 million construction contract for ‘South Living’ project

Dubai South Properties has revealed the selection of Al Turath Al Aseel Contracting for a contract worth AED150 million ($40.83 million) to construct the South Living Tower, a luxury apartment development situated within the Residential District of Dubai South.

This initiative was launched in June of this year, featuring an appealing post-handover payment plan, spurred by the significant demand for spacious apartments in the area, WAM reported.

Completion of the project is anticipated by Q1 2027, offering a total of 209 units that will include studios, as well as 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments.

According to Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties, there has been a steady increase in the demand for residential apartments in Dubai South over the past few years. He noted that following the announcement of new passenger terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport in April, there was a significant surge in interest in housing, which was reflected in the rising sales and rental values for residential properties in Dubai South.
