The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has launched an extensive lineup of events planned for the final quadrimester of 2024. The robust schedule encompasses over 100 prominent business and consumer trade shows, pivotal conferences, and industry association meetings spanning a wide array of sectors.

Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, executive vice president at DWTC, stated that DWTC’s calendar is anchored by flagship events like GITEX Global, ArabLab+, WETEX, and Automechanika, which continue to draw global attention.

These forthcoming events transcend mere milestones – they serve as catalysts for economic expansion, strategically synchronized with the ambitious objectives outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), Julfar added.

The event season kicks off in September with Paper Arabia (3-5), the Emirates International Gastroenterology and Hepatology Conference 2024 (6-8), and Binous Classic (7-8). The second week features a packed lineup, including Sleep Expo, Plastics Recycling Show ME, ME Foam & Polyurethane Expo, Adhesives Sealants and Bonding Expo Middle East, Furniture Manufacturing Expo, Base Oils, Lubricants and Additives Technology Exhibition, and Middle East Composites & Advanced Materials Expo.

September event highlights

September also hosts the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) (14-15), The Elevator Show (16–18), and ITS 2024 – World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (16–20). The month culminates with ArabLab+ (24–26) and the Emirati youth empowerment event, Ru’ya (Careers UAE Redefined), organized by DWTC (24–26).

October event highlights

October will see the return of notable events such as WETEX (1-3) and the World Green Economy Summit (2-3). The Forex Exhibition and AGRA Middle East Exhibition, the region’s biggest agricultural trade show, will run concurrently (both 7-8). The month also features AccessAbilities Expo and the Najah Exhibition, dedicated to higher education opportunities (both 7-9).

Moreover, October’s highlights include Expand North Star, GITEX Impact, Future Blockchain Summit, Fintech Surge, and Marketing Mania at Dubai Harbour (13-16), while the 44th edition of GITEX Global, GITEX Global DevSlam, and the Future Urbanism Smart City Summit & Expo 2024 return to DWTC (14-18).

November even highlights

November kickstarts with Gulfood Manufacturing and Gulf Host (5-7), followed by the 34th Annual International Association of Operative Millers Middle East & Africa Region Conference & Expo 2024 (11-13) and World Tobacco Middle East (12-13). GESS – Global Educational Supplies & Solutions, Paperworld Middle East & Playworld Middle East, and Brands of India (all 12-14) will also take place, alongside MEIDAM 2024 – 9th Middle East International Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine Conference & Exhibition (15-17).

The month continues with the Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo, and the 7th International Conference of Shenzhen Associations & 2024 OCTF (Dubai) Intelligent Technology Exhibition (both 18-20). Moreover, the lineup culminates with LiveableCitiesX, Future FM, GEO World (all 26-28), and the must-attend Big 5 Global 2024 (26 – 29).

December event highlights

December’s events commence with the Evolving Practice of Ophthalmology Middle East Conference 2024 (5-7), followed by Logimotion, Automechanika Dubai, China Home Life, Asia Baby Children Maternity Exhibition, and the International Appliance and Electronics Show (all 10-19).

Additionally, alongside the DWTC lineup, the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) will host the Dubai Muscle Show & Active Show 2024 (25-27 October), Future Human 2024 (November 8-10), and The Global Freight Summit 2024 (November 18-20).

The Jafza One Convention Centre will feature the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) UAE 2024 Gulf Super Pro Championship (September 22), the International Cranes and Transport Middle East Conference 2024 (October 1-2), and the Dubai Diamond Conference (November 11).
