Emirates, the Official Main Partner of Real Madrid, has revealed a special livery on one of its Boeing 777 aircraft. The plane arrived in Madrid on Tuesday, transporting the club’s first-team players on a specially chartered flight to Jeddah in advance of the Spanish Super Cup tournament, which is scheduled to take place from January 8 to 12.
Long-standing partnership
Since becoming a partner of Real Madrid in 2011, Emirates took on the role of the club’s jersey sponsor in 2013. The airline is set to continue as the Official Main Sponsor of the Spanish club until 2026, marking the longest jersey sponsorship in La Liga’s history. The eye-catching design showcases several of the club’s star players, including Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, Jude Bellingham, Lucas Vazquez, and Federico Valverde.

Engaging experiences for fans
Over the past ten years, Emirates has provided fans with opportunities to engage with iconic players, partake in exclusive experiences, and enjoy memorable “fly better” moments. Elevating the partnership to new heights, Real Madrid supporters can now watch their favorite team as the specially decorated Boeing 777 is scheduled to fly to various destinations, including Athens, Vienna, Miami, Seattle, and Kuwait.
Service expansion in Madrid
Emirates commenced operations to Madrid in 2010 and currently offers a double daily service to the city, employing a fleet that includes both A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
Fleet modernization initiatives
As part of its multi-billion dollar retrofit initiative, Emirates has introduced 36 fully refurbished aircraft (comprising 26 A380s and 10 Boeing 777s) featuring new interiors, including the highly praised Premium Economy cabin. The airline also recently added its first A350 to its expanding fleet and currently serves cities like Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain, with plans to introduce its latest generation aircraft to additional destinations soon.
