Emirates and American Express Middle East (AEME) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), aiming to strengthen their strategic collaboration and explore new benefits tailored for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across select markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The partnership will focus on delivering targeted, value-driven initiatives to better serve the SME segment, a key engine of regional economic growth.
As part of the agreement, both companies will explore a range of offerings including bespoke payment solutions, enhanced engagement strategies, and potential incentives for American Express Middle East card holders participating in the Emirates Business Rewards program.

The move underscores a shared commitment by Emirates and AEME to support the evolving needs of SMEs through innovative and accessible solutions that promote growth, efficiency, and long-term value.
Mazin Khoury, CEO at AEME, noted: “SMEs are the pulse of the economy across the region and at American Express Middle East we are deeply committed to their success. Through this MOU, we aim to expand our collaboration with Emirates to create meaningful value for small businesses.”
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, added: “Emirates recognises the pivotal role SMEs play in driving innovation, creating jobs, and fostering economic growth, and we’re committed to providing them with flexible solutions and a unique value proposition for their travel needs.
