Emirates has introduced its inaugural Emirates World retail store concept in Southeast Asia, featuring a fully immersive Emirates experience in Manila. This new establishment signifies a pivotal moment in the airline’s dedication to the Philippines, transforming the travel retail landscape for its customers, according to a statement.
Prime location and grand inauguration
Situated at Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, this newly opened 221-square-meter retail destination was officially launched by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ deputy president and chief commercial officer. The event was graced by the presence of the Philippines First Lady, Mrs. Liza Araneta Marcos; His Excellency Mohamed Obaid Al Qataam Al Zaabi, UAE ambassador to the Philippines; along with other esteemed guests, trade partners, and media representatives.
Commitment to customer experience
Adnan Kazim noted that the new Emirates World Store in Manila is designed to function as a comprehensive destination where customers can discover Emirates’ top-tier products and services. He emphasized that the store offers visitors an insight into the airline’s onboard hospitality and excellence, setting a high standard for retail experiences both in the Philippines and globally. He also mentioned that the Emirates World retail store is an integral part of the broader strategy to connect with customers during their travel planning, enhancing their experience in line with the brand values.
Highlighting premium in-flight luxury
A notable highlight of the new retail store is the Emirates A380 onboard Lounge display, which provides customers an up-close experience of the premium elements that characterize Emirates’ offerings in the skies, showcasing the airline’s high standards of in-flight luxury. Visitors to the store can also explore a thoughtfully curated selection of Emirates-branded merchandise and travel accessories, including the latest NBA collection for basketball enthusiasts.
Innovative technology enhancing customer engagement
The Emirates World Store is distinguished by its incorporation of smart technologies that elevate it beyond traditional travel retail environments. It features an interactive self-service screen that allows customers to effortlessly browse flight options, check availability, and more.
Strengthening ties with the Philippine market
The opening of the Emirates World Store in Manila reinforces the airline’s commitment to the Philippine market and its dedication to delivering the exceptional service that only the world’s largest international airline can provide. Emirates has previously launched its reimagined retail spaces in Dubai, Hong Kong, London, and Nairobi, with plans for additional stores to be rolled out in key markets, supported by an estimated investment of AED 100 million over the next three years as part of the airline’s retail strategy.
