Emirates has announced the first set of destinations that its A350 aircraft will be serving starting September 2024. Emirates expects to receive 10 new A350s by March 31, 2025. Therefore, it plans to deploy its latest aircraft type to nine destinations in the coming months.

The Emirates A350 aircraft offers three cabin classes, 32 next-generation business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 259 economy class seats. All of these aircraft will serve short to medium-haul cities on the Emirates network, with Bahrain as the inaugural destination.

Commenting on the new aircraft, Adnan Kazim, deputy president and chief commercial officer at Emirates, said: “The A350 will be a game-changer for Emirates, enabling us to serve regional points with superior operating efficiency and flexibility across the Middle East and GCC, West Asia and Europe.”

Middle East and GCC destinations

The first A350 flight Emirates will operate will be to Bahrain starting September 15 on the daily EK839/840 service. The A350 service will progressively increase to cover two Bahrain services starting November 1.

Moreover, Emirates will utilize the A350 for flights to Kuwait on the daily EK853/854 service starting September 16. In addition, it will cover Muscat’s daily EK866/867 starting December 1.

West Asia destinations

Emirates will fly the A350 to Mumbai on EK502/503 starting October 27. Moreover, it will serve Ahmedabad’s daily EK538/539 starting October 27 and Colombo’s fourth daily service EK654/655 starting January 1, 2025.

Europe destinations

The Emirates A350 will fly daily to Lyon starting December 1, in addition to Bologna. On November 4, Edinburgh will rejoin the Emirates network. Emirates will also announce more destinations in the next few months as new aircraft join its fleet.

Customers can now start buying tickets to the new destinations on emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via travel agents. They can look forward to the A350’s spacious and quiet cabin, high ceilings, large bin space, and customizable mood lighting that reduces fatigue and jet lag. Emirates stated that it will announce other cabin details in the next few months.
