Commitment to the Saudi market

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, stated, “As we celebrate the newest addition to our growing global network, we also reaffirm our commitment to the Saudi market as we mark 20 years of connecting Abu Dhabi with Saudi Arabia. With the increasing demand for air travel to the promising business and tourism market in KSA, we are excited to launch flights to Al Qassim, a significant cultural and commercial centre.”

Network expansion and summer destinations

Last week, Etihad Airways also celebrated a significant expansion of its network, launching flights to eight new destinations. This brings the total number of operating routes this summer to 76. The airline has also commenced operations to new seasonal destinations and returned to popular summer hotspots.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests on board this summer and conveniently connecting more people to more places around the world,” said Neves.

The airline also returned to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini. Earlier in June, Etihad relaunched its services to the popular Spanish holiday resort of Málaga for the season.

New service to Jaipur, India

Last week, Etihad also launched services directly to Jaipur, the “pink city” and a major tourist hotspot in Rajasthan, India. This marks Etihad’s 11th gateway into India, further strengthening the airline’s commitment to the Indian market through increased connectivity and convenience.
