Etisalat by e& and Cisco, two prominent leaders in the telecommunications and technology industries, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on cutting-edge connectivity solutions and services for businesses in the UAE.

The agreement, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), was formalized in the presence of Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, CEO of etisalat by e& UAE. The MoU establishes the guiding principles for the companies’ collaboration in go-to-market activities, with a focus on serving enterprises and SMB business customers. This collaboration aims to enhance customer engagement, co-develop innovative products, and strengthen managed services capabilities.

This strategic alliance capitalizes on the strengths of both organizations. It combines the extensive reach and robust infrastructure of etisalat by e& with Cisco’s innovative technology solutions. The collaboration is expected to deliver more efficient and effective advanced connectivity solutions, ultimately enhancing the customer experience and enabling their growth and transformation.

Furthermore, the partnership will involve joint efforts to develop a wide range of consultancy services for various commercial segments. These services will encompass areas such as business continuity, disaster recovery, a tech-refresh framework, and sustainable tech-enabled solutions.
