With technological advances and a promise of better user experience, the smart home market in the Middle East will grow to a massive $20.74 billion industry in 2029, up from just $8.62 billion this year. The figures are from the latest Mordor Intelligence report, which also highlights that advances in security systems, energy management solutions as well as entertainment will drive consumer demand.
Priming itself up for this expansion, EZVIZ Middle East is introducing the latest innovations in hyper-connected homes, focusing on home security systems and the latest in smart home advances.
“As an international company, we have witnessed rapid growth in the smart home sector in the Middle East over the past five years since our market entry. This remarkable expansion is driven by several factors: increasing disposable incomes, growing urbanization, and a tech-savvy consumer base eager to embrace innovative home automation solutions. Furthermore, with the introduction of 5G technology, the potential for smart homes in the Middle East has been further enhanced,” said Albert Hao, business director of EZVIZ Middle East.
According to Hao, the widespread popularity of internet usage and smartphones in the Middle East, coupled with rapid advancements in 5G technology, has laid a strong foundation for smart home development. “One key advantage of having a well-established internet infrastructure is seamless connectivity between devices within a smart home ecosystem. This enables homeowners to effortlessly control and monitor various aspects of their homes remotely through their smartphones or other connected devices,” he added.
Expanding product portfolio
EZVIZ built its empire on the strength of its portfolio of cutting-edge home security solutions. With relentless drive and innovations, EZVIZ has grown to become a global leader in this sector, boasting more than 54 million users in more than 130 countries. With its extensive experience, EZVIZ has been able to address evolving consumer demands with tailored products and solutions for smart homes at flexible price points.
For Hao, this makes EZVIZ easily accessible and easy to use – a manifestation of its brand essence and ambition “to initiate an easy evolution that everyone can embrace to elevate their living space and their quality of life.”
At this year’s edition of GITEX, the company is showcasing its next-generation home security system, which not only advances the camera functionalities with many patented new technologies but also expands interoperation between cameras, video doorbells, internet-connected doorphones and smart locks.
Beyond that, however, it is also highlighting its ever-growing product portfolio that explores an increasing demand for interconnected homes by presenting multi-purpose cleaning robots for floors and lawns, home solar power solutions, automatic home controls, and other innovative solutions to enable smart homes to provide greater convenience and a better quality of life overall.
Advanced technologies for a safer home
Hao says innovation is built into EZVIZ’s DNA. He added: “The company has developed industry-leading products that continue to revolutionize the smart home market and have gained global certifications and industry recognition worldwide.”
For instance, EZVIZ was the first in the market to introduce several technologies that set new standards: the Always-On Video (AOV) mode for energy-saving yet continuous recording on battery cameras, the Co-action and Mixed-view Dual-lens Technology to maximize efficiency and coverage, and the ColorFULL night vision that changes the game of ultra-low-light monitoring.
In the Middle East market, EZVIZ unveiled its 4G outdoor cameras that extend protection to farms and camps, as well as a 4K solar battery series that uses built-in solar panels to draw power from the sun to completely reduce the need for cables.
Industry-leading home security cameras
At the world’s largest IT exhibition in Dubai, EZVIZ will present its industry-leading range of home security cameras, such as the CB5, which features 4K video in AOV mode, an integrated solar panel, and advanced AI-powered detection functions. Also in the spotlight is the EB3 4G, a battery-powered camera that is perfect for outdoor installations with the AOV mode feature as well as advanced human and vehicle detection features. In addition, EZVIZ will demo the H9c 3K Dual-Lens Smart Wi-Fi Camera, which provides clearer and more detailed images and also has advanced features like AI-powered human, vehicle shape detection, and smart tracking.
EZVIZ will also give a full simulation of its latest Smart Entry range at GITEX. It is a system that is interoperable with the cameras and is inherently easy to use, boosting home protection right from the start when entering a property. Among the products that the company will showcase is the EP3x Pro, EZVIZ’s first dual-lens video doorbell with unparalleled vision, complex detection features, and an easy solar charging option; as well as the DL05, a smart lock that features flexible unlocking methods, and easily connects to the home via the EZVIZ app.
Smart and clean living with cutting-edge robotics
Keeping true to its brand ethos of enabling customers to enjoy “easy living”, EZVIZ added robotic cleaning to its portfolio of products in 2022 and has since become recognized globally for industry-leading robot vacuum cleaners, as well as robot-mop hybrids.
Its flagship model of the year, the RS20 Pro, features a comprehensive range of abilities to clean all types of floors and itself. It is equipped with EZVIZ’s patented technologies to minimize human labor down to almost zero during even complex cleaning tasks. These include the automatic mop installation and detachment function, the 3-in-1 roller brush that cuts free tangled hair and picks up hidden dirt, auto-lifting side brushes to avoid carpet damage and tangled wires, and dynamic edge mopping for hard-to-reach areas.
