Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the 4th Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) is set to occur from December 8 to 11, 2025. This year’s event, hosted by ADGM in partnership with ADQ, will embrace the theme “Engineering the Capital Network.”
This year’s agenda will illuminate how emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, can be harnessed to re-architect modern finance.
The theme of the event encapsulates the shifting flows and dynamics of financial centers and highlights Abu Dhabi’s transformation from a predominantly capital-exporting entity to a two-way capital flow system, driven by leading institutions and a world-class regulatory ecosystem at ADGM, the international financial center of the UAE’s capital city.
Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, chairman of ADGM, stated, “ADFW 2025 is set to be our most ambitious edition of this hugely successful event. With this year’s edition doubling in size compared to last year’s ADFW venue, we are establishing a new benchmark for financial gatherings in the region and beyond. This reflects Abu Dhabi’s growing influence in global capital markets and our commitment to continue creating a truly international financial platform.”

Launchpad for global deals
ADFW has evolved into a launchpad and stage for international deals, partnerships, and significant announcements. In 2023, global financial institutions representing US$450 billion in assets under management (AUM) declared at the event that they were establishing operations in ADGM. This positive momentum persisted during ADFW 2024, with institutions representing US$650 billion in AUM announcing their integration into the ADGM community.
In 2024, the event united 50 local and international partners, underscoring its increasing significance within the global financial landscape.
ADFW 2024 also attracted over 20,000 leaders, experts, executives, and policymakers, including chairpersons, CEOs, COOs, managing directors, and other executives from leading global financial firms who collectively manage $42.5 trillion in assets. The event showcased more than 350 sessions across over 60 industry-shaping events and strategic forums, where leaders convened to tackle major market challenges in economics, asset management, technology, and sustainability.
