Dubai Police recently concluded its participation in Gitex Global 2024, showcasing its latest innovations and services that seek to enhance security and introduce key policy initiatives aimed at serving the community.

One main highlight of Dubai Police’s participation was the launch of the ‘Digital Twin for Tourist Police’ system, a smart AI-powered platform that automatically responds to tourist inquiries and complaints. This system will provide advanced, real-time services, delivering fast and accurate responses 24/7, improving the tourist experience in Dubai.

Esaad Privilege Card

Dubai Police also showcased the Esaad Privilege Card at their Gitex stand. The Esaad card offers exclusive discounts and deals to cardholders across 10 sectors, including tourism and travel, restaurants and entertainment, online shopping, retail, health and fitness, housing, family services, education, automotive, and the public sector. This initiative aims to provide cardholders with valuable benefits while supporting Dubai Police’s mission to enhance the quality of life for residents and employees.

During its participation at Gitex Global 2024, Dubai Police also introduced visitors to the official website of the World Police Summit and explained the summit’s awards, which honor the efforts of experts, specialists, and police leaders worldwide. These awards celebrate individuals who dedicate their lives to ensuring global and local community safety, applying the highest international standards despite ongoing challenges.

Additionally, they provided visitors with an overview of the key themes and objectives of the upcoming World Police Summit, scheduled for May 13-15, 2025, in Dubai, under the theme ‘Designing the Future of Policing’. The summit will address global changes in line with the Fifth Industrial Revolution.

Dubai Police forms key collaborations

During Gitex Global 2024, Dubai Police established a strategic partnership with du to roll out innovative digital solutions that enhance security operations through advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This collaboration aims to deliver groundbreaking digital solutions, boosting Dubai Police’s decision-making capabilities through AI-driven enhancements.

In addition, Dubai Police, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE) and e& UAE entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on improving public safety and security in Dubai. This partnership follows Dubai Police and e& UAE launching the Smart Home Security System, which aims to bolster home and property security using advanced motion sensors that instantly detect unusual movements.

Innovative platforms showcased

Dubai Police also showcased a range of cutting-edge platforms that enhance public safety and security at Gitex Global 2024. Among the key highlights was the ‘Drone Box’ platform, a strategic project supporting various police and security operations. Dubai Police also showcased its ‘ecrime’ platform, a user-friendly online service that easily lets the public report cybercrimes.

In addition, Dubai Police presented its smart app to visitors, demonstrating the wide range of services it offers to enhance public safety. These services include the ‘Police Eye’ feature, the ‘SOS Emergency’ service, and traffic-related features such as reporting minor traffic accidents and unidentified incidents. The app also provides numerous community services, further reinforcing Dubai Police’s commitment to public safety and security.
