During Gitex Global 2024 in Dubai, UiPath, a prominent name in enterprise automation and AI-driven software, has enhanced its strategic alliance with e& UAE, the telecommunications division of e&. This collaboration marks e& UAE as the first partner in the region to deliver Robotic Process Automation (RPA) integrated with AI as a managed service, utilizing e& UAE’s cloud infrastructure.

Commitment to empowering businesses

Hazem Gebili, senior vice president of Enterprise Service Solutions, emphasized that the partnership with UiPath reflects their commitment to empowering businesses of all sizes, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs). He noted that by merging RPA with AI, they enable companies to optimize their operations, minimize manual errors, and enhance overall efficiency. This approach results in reduced operational costs, allowing businesses to concentrate on their core functions, optimize resources, and increase productivity while accelerating their digital transformation.

Affordable automation solutions

Esam Mahmoud, senior vice president for SMB, mentioned that their unique agreement with UiPath grants them access to cutting-edge AI solutions, providing businesses with an affordable pathway to automate their processes. He explained that e& UAE’s new RPA managed services are backed by a skilled team of RPA and AI experts, simplifying the adoption process and enabling SMBs to harness automation, regardless of their technical skills or financial constraints. He added that their goal is to empower businesses to focus on growth and innovation while handling the complexities of automation.

Renewed commitment to automation

Building on their successful collaboration since 2018, e& UAE has renewed its Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) with UiPath for an additional three years, reinforcing its commitment to making automation more accessible.

By integrating AI with RPA, e& UAE plans to implement advanced solutions such as test automation, task mining, process mining, and document processing throughout its internal operations as well.

Largest install base in MEA

Zakaria Haltout, area vice president for MEA at UiPath, indicated that the strengthened partnership with e& UAE represents a significant advancement in their mission to enhance human achievement through automation. He highlighted that combining e&’s extensive reach and infrastructure with UiPath’s leading automation technologies positions them to drive unparalleled digital transformation in the region.

This collaboration also positions e& UAE as UiPath’s largest install base in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), with over 1,200 robots deployed and nearly 1,000 automated processes in place.
