The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has announced its participation in Gitex Global 2024, which is currently being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre until October 18. Joining the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion, the Khalifa Fund will collaborate with over 30 government entities and strategic partners to showcase more than 100 innovative projects aimed at improving community welfare and enhancing the quality of life in Abu Dhabi. This year’s theme is “Towards an AI-Powered Government.”

At Gitex, the Khalifa Fund will reveal its newly developed AI platform, integrated into its website, which is designed to boost operational efficiency in line with the Abu Dhabi government’s goals for AI-driven innovation. This platform further seeks to revolutionize public services by advancing government solutions that improve service delivery and effectively meet changing needs.

Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, acting CEO of Khalifa Fund, expressed the honor of launching the new AI platform at GITEX. She highlighted the significant progress the Khalifa Fund has made in its digital transformation journey, noting that the platform represents a major milestone and transformative shift. This initiative reflects the Fund’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and empowering the SME ecosystem to adopt sustainable practices through effective AI technologies and advanced smart solutions that respond to community needs, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s e-Government Strategy.

Furthermore, Al Nasri emphasized that the innovative platform would enable startups and SMEs to thrive and achieve sustainable growth. She mentioned that it aims to inspire creativity and innovation within the SME landscape, contributing to the national economic goals of building a knowledge-based economy and transforming it into a smart, inclusive, and sustainable model, ultimately enhancing Abu Dhabi’s status as a global innovation hub.
