Internet search giant Google has announced the global expansion of its AI-powered search experience, known as “AI Mode,” now available in more than 180 countries, including those in the Arab region.

Interactive AI search now available globally
AI Mode transforms the traditional search engine interface into an interactive, chat-like experience, allowing users to conduct searches in a more dynamic and conversational way. While the feature is currently available only in English, Google has confirmed that Arabic support is not yet included in this release.
Previously limited to the U.S., United Kingdom, and India, AI Mode is now accessible to millions of users worldwide through Google Search, offering a more intuitive way to explore content, ask questions, and get curated answers powered by Google’s advanced AI models.
Premium features for Google AI Ultra subscribers
As part of the update, Google has introduced “Agentic capabilities”, a set of new tools exclusive to subscribers of Google AI Ultra, the company’s paid AI service.
Among the most notable features is the ability to make restaurant reservations directly through AI Mode.
Users can input specific details such as date, time, location, number of guests, and preferred cuisine, and the AI will search across supported booking platforms to compile a list of available restaurants. Each result includes a direct link for completing the reservation, streamlining the process of dining out.
Personalized search through user history
Google is also enhancing AI Mode’s ability to provide more personalized results by analyzing users’ previous searches and preferences. This personalization aims to deliver more accurate suggestions tailored to each user’s interests and habits, making the search experience more relevant and efficient.

Shareable AI results
In another update designed to increase usability and collaboration, Google introduced a share feature for AI Mode results.
Users can now generate a shareable link to any AI-powered response, which can be copied and sent via text or messaging apps. Recipients can pick up the conversation from the same point, allowing shared exploration of a topic or decision-making process with friends and family.
A glimpse into the future of search
With the global rollout of AI Mode, Google is solidifying its position at the forefront of AI-integrated search technology. By combining personalized, interactive features with broader availability, Google is reshaping how users interact with information online.
Although support for Arabic and other languages is yet to come, the company’s ongoing improvements suggest that multilingual capabilities may be on the horizon, making AI Mode even more inclusive and accessible in future updates.
