Organizations can set working hours based on operational needs for uninterrupted service delivery. 

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has issued a circular declaring Friday, June 27, 2025, as the official public holiday for Dubai government entities, departments, and institutions in observance of Hijri New Year.

The circular specifies that this holiday does not apply to entities with employees working in shifts or those providing essential public services or managing critical facilities. These organizations may establish suitable working hours for their staff based on operational needs to ensure seamless service delivery.

On this auspicious occasion, the Department extends its heartfelt wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates; as well as to all citizens and residents of the UAE.
