Technologies on show

Honeywell’s booth will exhibit several technologies at ADIPEC 2023, including:

  • Digital automation and control: Honeywell offers a range of digital solutions. These solutions encompass digital twins, cyber insight, intelligent refining, and upstream performance suites. These solutions aim to enhance uptime, process performance, and efficiency. Honeywell has been assisting ADNOC in their digital transformation through AI-based asset monitoring and predictive analysis. As part of a 10-year predictive maintenance agreement, Honeywell strives to optimize operations by maximizing uptime, improving efficiency, predictability, and overall performance.
  • Carbon capture, utilization, and storage: Honeywell will present its range of innovative technologies related to carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) at the event. These cutting-edge solutions are designed to address carbon emissions in energy production processes and various industrial operations.
  • Hydrogen Production and Transportation: Honeywell will emphasize its solutions for hydrogen production and transportation, focusing on the significance of blue hydrogen as a crucial transitional solution towards achieving a green hydrogen economy.
  • Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF): Additionally, Honeywell will exhibit its innovative Ecofining™ technology at the event. This groundbreaking technology utilizes animal fats, vegetable oils, waste cooking oil, and other noncompeting feedstock to produce highly efficient biofuels. In addition to Ecofining™, Honeywell will showcase other technologies that enable the exploration of alternative and abundant feedstock pathways, such as biomass, ethanol, and even carbon dioxide.

Additional technologies include

  • Emissions Management: As a greenhouse gas, methane is about 27-30 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Visitors can learn about Honeywell’s new Emissions Management Suite at ADIPEC. The suite helps energy companies reduce and report emissions data. Also, it achieves this through the integration of connected detectors, visualizers, flare gas recovery systems, and real-time data analytics. The suite offers a ready-now, end-to-end plant-wide solution.
  • Workforce excellence and safety: Furthermore, to meet the regional customers’ demands for local workforce development and stringent safety standards, Honeywell will present a selection of workforce training, simulation, and connected worker systems. These include safety wearables, voice systems, and portable gas detection devices, all aimed at optimizing the productivity and safety of field-based operations.
