After undergoing a successful redevelopment and upgrade, the new private terminal, known as an FBO (Fixed-Base Operator), takes the distinguished heritage of Al Bateen Executive Airport to new heights. As the sole private jet airport in the region, this state-of-the-art facility builds upon its exceptional legacy.

Al Bateen Executive Airport is strategically located with easy city center access. It provides convenient road connectivity for swift access to Abu Dhabi’s financial, tourist, and entertainment destinations.

Al Bateen Executive Airport is one of five airports managed and operated by Abu Dhabi Airports. Elena Sorlini, managing director and interim CEO, Abu Dhabi Airports said: “The renovation of the VVIP Terminal at Al Bateen further strengthens the luxury service offering to our passengers.”

Private aviation growth
Jetex Abu Dhabi is set to drive the growth and expansion of the private aviation sector in the UAE’s capital. As a recognized global brand, it brings added value. It also offers fresh opportunities for UAE citizens, residents, and international travelers.
In 2022, the airport completed its expansion project, which included resurfacing and widening the existing 3.2km runway to accommodate widebody aircraft. Furthermore, the airport upgraded ground lighting, signage, and landscape. These enhancements meet high standards of safety, compliance, and accreditation.
The secure apron and hangar parking facilities can accommodate up to 50 aircraft, providing an extensive range of ground handling services.
