Kuwait’s Central Agency for Tenders in the country announced that Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company (HEISCO) had won a project worth 90.99 million dinars ($296.69 million) with its client Mitsubishi Power Limited.

According to a statement provided to Boursa Kuwait, the contract will benefit the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy and will involve the “developing of steam turbines and electric generators for 8 steam units at the Al-Subiya power plant and water distillation.”
