M42 has recently signed a partnership with ADGM Academy to offer educational and practical training programs in health tech for Emirati professionals over the next few years to support the UAE’s vision of upskilling nationals and preparing them to further contribute to the nation’s growth and prosperity.

The partnership aims to create an educational hub to train the next generation of Emirati professionals across various health tech roles and enhance the skills of current employees to adapt to evolving market demands.

Abdulla Al Suwaidi, member of the ADGM Academy board of directors, and Faisal Al Mulla, acting group chief human capital officer at M42, signed the agreement at ADGM Academy.

Meeting sector’s evolving needs

The two entities will integrate the collaboration into the National Development Program and the Financial Job Center to provide crucial knowledge and skills to both existing and emerging Emirati talent within M42.

They will also develop new programs and courses in line with identified skill sets, addressing key competencies required by the industry.

“This initiative not only addresses the immediate workforce needs of the industry but also supports the long-term vision of the UAE National Agenda to build a sustainable and knowledgeable economy,” stated Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, chairman of ADGM Academy.

Support Emirati talents’ growth

By partnering with private hospitals and government authorities, ADGM Academy aims to create a skilled workforce that contributes to national progress and economic prosperity and aligns with the UAE’s broader goals of enhancing employability and workforce development, particularly in critical sectors such as banking, finance, public services, and healthcare.

“By joining forces, we are not just investing in education, but also in the continuous professional growth and advancement of Emirati professionals. We want to nurture our Emirati talent and ensure their career opportunities with us are limitless,” added Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, managing director and group CEO of M42, chairman of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
