Make it in the Emirates 2025: Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed launches Serh Group, $544.5 million agreement with ADNOC

During H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to the annual Make it in the Emirates exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, he officially launched Serh Group and announced a strategic partnership with ADNOC, valued at AED2 billion ($544.5 million). 

The launch ceremony also featured the unveiling of Serh Group’s new corporate identity and logo, inspired by the resilient Serh tree, symbolizing strength and sustainability in the UAE’s natural environment. Under the partnership with ADNOC, Serh will supply a wide range of equipment and machinery over five years to support key energy sector projects.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, alongside Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, chairman of Serh Group. Dr. Al Jaber highlighted ADNOC’s commitment to fostering strong alliances that support economic growth in the UAE.

Additionally, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, affirmed that, thanks to the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has become a major hub for advanced industries.

He further emphasized the importance the wise leadership places on strengthening the industrial sector and nurturing highly qualified national talent, which is essential for the growth, development, and diversification of the local economy. The fourth edition of Make it in the Emirates brought together senior decision-makers, entrepreneurs, investors, industrialists, and experts.

During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on the latest industrial products and technologies showcased at the exhibition, highlighting the UAE’s industrial sector’s growth and its role in economic diversification and global competitiveness. Moreover, he expressed pride in the national achievements and innovative initiatives observed, stating that the Make it in the Emirates initiative reflects the leadership’s vision for a diverse and sustainable national economy driven by innovation and advanced industry.
