In another groundbreaking announcement, NEOM has revealed its latest marvel: Aquellum, a $500 billion smart city in Saudi Arabia.The board of directors recently unveiled the new luxury multibillion-dollar regional development which, upon completion, will be 33 times the size of New York.

NEOM’s statement describes Aquellum as a convergence of cutting-edge technology, avant-garde architecture, and forward-thinking concepts. It promises guests an immersive taste of futuristic living through a spectrum of pioneering experiences. This project stands as a testament to NEOM’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of conventional design and construction possibilities.

Hidden marvel

Nestled along the Gulf of the Aqaba coastline, Aquellum remains concealed within a 450-meter-high mountain range. It seamlessly integrates into the natural surroundings, creating a futuristic ecosystem in nature. Hence, Aquellum is poised to redefine the landscape of contemporary living.

To access this futuristic haven, visitors start their journey at a floating marina. Then, they board a specially designed vessel and travel across a concealed underground canal, unveiling a hidden community that promises an extraordinary sensory journey. Once inside, a 100-meter-high vertical experience awaits, with an impressive courtyard space stretching from the water to the sky.

Aquellum’s subterranean digitalized community aims to create vibrancy and interconnectivity through a seamless blend of hotel accommodations, apartments, retail spaces, leisure and entertainment zones, and innovative hubs. A dynamic boulevard connects hospitality, immersive arts, events, shopping, and dining, offering a comprehensive experience for residents and visitors alike.
