Government employees in Kuwait will enjoy a four-day holiday to welcome New Year 2025, it was announced.
The Kuwaiti cabinet has declared a two-day break from January 1 to January 2 (Wednesday and Thursday). Combined with the Friday-Saturday weekend, government employees will get a four-day holiday.
Work at government institutions will resume on Sunday, it was further announced.
Government bodies that are required to work during this break can decide their respective holidays in a way that operations are not affected.
