Dubai-based Parkonic announced today the launch of 18 new ticketless paid parking locations across Dubai starting next week as part of its recent partnership with Salik. The company currently manages ticketless parking across several locations in Dubai, including Dubai Harbour On-Street Parking, MOTF, Global Village, and Crescent.
Last year, Parkonic and Salik partnered to enhance parking payment experiences across the UAE by integrating Salik’s advanced eWallet system. The partnership is based on a five-year contract, during which Parkonic will integrate Salik’s eWallet into the 107 locations it operates and any other future locations it may operate in the UAE. The agreement also marked the first time Salik has expanded its service offering outside of the Emirate of Dubai.

How to use Parkonic
To use the Parkonic app, users must create an account, register their vehicles and top up their wallet. At the Parkonic location, an ANPR camera will capture the vehicle’s license plate and the barrier will open automatically.
For app users, the exit barrier will automatically open since fees get deducted automatically. However, Non-Parkonic app users must pay before they exit through any payment method.
