Qatar is kicking off 2025 with an exciting lineup of activities and events, promising dynamic offerings that position the country as a vibrant destination where visitors can create lasting memories. From world-class business conferences and captivating entertainment showcases to exciting sports competitions and rich cultural festivals, the country is getting ready for an eventful start of the year.

Sealine Season

Qatar is hosting a first-of-its-kind multi-activity desert event, Sealine Season, at Sealine Beach. Taking place over three weeks from January 3 to 27,  Sealine Season will feature activities spanning sports, entertainment, cultural displays and engaging attractions.

The event will feature activities like monster trucks, desert safaris, ATVs, RC cars, 4×4 simulator cars, horse riding, boat trips and fishing trips. Sealine Season is also hosting a concert on January 10, fireworks shows every Friday and daily stage shows, roaming acts and DJs.

A kite show will take place on January 16-18 and drone shows will take places on January 23-24. Sealine Season will also feature a car show on January 24.

Ras Abrouq

Qatar is also hosting the Ras Abrouq event this month. Running until January 18, Ras Abrouq is hosting special activities for everyone including nature rides, horse rides, camel rides and multiple activities for children. Discover exciting events at Film City, Desert Escape and Our Habitas Ras Abrouq. Kids can join workshops by Al-Hosh Gallery, while visitors enjoy daily performances, activities and live entertainment.

You can head to the ghost town of Zekreet Film City and enjoy a fun-filled day in this Bedouin-style village or experience the thrill of concerts, exhibitions and hot air balloon rides in the heart of the desert.

Shop Qatar Festival 2025

The month of January kicked off with the Shop Qatar Festival 2025, the nation’s largest shopping and entertainment event, which will run until February 1. Themed “Your Shopping Playground,” the month-long festival features discounts, daily entertainment and opportunities to win major prizes.

Every Friday, a weekly raffle draw will reward winners with extraordinary prizes including luxury Exeed cars, cash rewards ranging from QAR10,000 to QAR100,000, and the grand prize of a Tesla Cybertruck. Over 15 malls are participating in the festival, ensuring that visitors and residents across the country can enjoy the festivities.

Hosh Msheireb

Msheireb Museums will host Hosh Msheireb from January 2 until January 31, offering cultural activities and performances in a family-friendly setting.

Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2025

The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2025 is returning with its 21st edition from January 30 to February 5. The exhibition promises to captivate attendees with its exclusive showcase of luxury and craftsmanship.

The event also includes many workshops and side-line events, designed for industry experts and specialists to connect with buyers and learn more about regional customer preferences. The event typically welcomes around 30,000 visitors from over 175 countries.

Qatar International Food Festival

The Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) 2025 will also return this year for its 14th edition from February 12-22. The event celebrates Qatar’s diverse food, beverage and hospitality offerings.

It is a culinary celebration that also presents various workshops and daily entertainment for the whole family, along with live cooking classes by award-winning chefs.

ATP Open Qatar

Qatar will also see the ATP Open Qatar from February 17-22, offering tennis fans a thrilling experience with world-class matches. This year’s tournament will take place at the Khalifa International Tennis Complex, marking its debut as an ATP 500 event and promising an extraordinary week of world-class competition.

This year’s tournament marks a historic moment as it transitions from an ATP 250 to an ATP 500 event, a significant milestone in its 32-year history. Tennis legends Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev will participate in the highly anticipated tournament.

E1 Doha Grand Prix

Adding to the excitement, the E1 Doha Grand Prix will host the world’s first all-electric race boat series, taking place in February. An exciting addition to the 2025 race calendar, the Visit Qatar E1 Doha GP will take place on February 21-22.

The stunning Corinthia Yacht Club on The Pearl Island will play host to E1’s racing series. Fans will pack the shoreline of the globally recognized island which spans an impressive four million square meters.

Web Summit Qatar 2025

Qatar will also witness Ed Sheeran’s concert on April 30 at the state-of-the-art Lusail Multipurpose Hall. As part of his Global +–=÷x Tour 2025, the superstar is offering fans a world-class musical experience for this second time in Doha.

Ed Sheeran is returning this year following a sold-out show in March 2015 when over 11,000 fans gathered at QNCC to watch their favorite singer in action.
